      Charles M. Trumble, 59, East Lamb Road, died Saturday at the State University of New York Health Science Center at Syracuse. He suffered from heart ailments.

      The funeral is 2 p.m. today at the Foster-Hax Funeral Home, with the Rev. Elizabeth Mowry, pastor of Park United Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Orwell, later this spring.

      Donations may be made to the American Heart Association.

      Surviving are a son, Charles M. Jr., Altmar; two daughters, Cindy E. Caufield, Lacona, and Janice M. Cortes, Parish; a stepson, Thomas Tate, Syracuse; seven grandchildren; a brother, Floyd Trumble, Sandy Creek; a sister, Jean Baird, Mattydale; his fiancee, Rose Saunders, Pulaski, and several half-brothers and half-sisters.

      Born Aug. 8, 1933, in the town of Albion, a son of William and Blossom Watson Trumble, he attended Altmar schools.

      Mr. Trumble was employed as a heavy equipment operator for the past 20 years, and he was employed by Crouse-Hinds in Syracuse and Scholer Technical Papers in Pulaski.
