Newspaper Obituary - Wednesday, October 2, 1935 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - Polish Vegetable Grower Dies At Port Ontario - Rudolph John. Polish, 56, a native of Poland a widely known vegetable grower, died at his home near Bethel church, Monday morning following a short illness. He suffered a stroke Sunday and failed to recover. Mr. Polish came to this country 42 years ago. For several years he was located near Binghamton coming to this vicinity some fifteen years ago. He is survived by his widow, four daughters, Amelia, Sophie, Annie and Margaret, and three sons, Mickey, Mikey and Victor. Another son died in infancy a few years ago when the family lived in Centerville. The children are all young and live at the family home. The funeral will be held this afternoon at the home with Rev. Albert E. Lawrence, officiating. Burial will be in Richland.
