- Wayne R. Hanley Obituary
Wayne R. Hanley, age 86, resident of Orwell for the last 50 years, passed away Sunday at Upstate Hospital. Wayne was born May 29, 1938, the son of Donald and Viola Hemp Hanley. He graduated from Syracuse Schools. Wayne was married to his wife, Maryann Coe Hanley on September 11, 1956. He was employed by Schoeller Technical Papers in Pulaski for over 30 years, retiring in 2000. Wayne enjoyed working in the yard and helping his wife in the garden.
Surviving are his wife, Maryann of Orwell, daughter, Wanda (James) Lacelle of Orwell, Cindy Hanley of Central Square, Douglas (Kristine) Hanley of Constantia, and Scott (Christine) Hanley of Richland, 12 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother Donald “Sonny” Hanley.
No funeral services will be held. Arrangements in care of Foster-Hax Funeral Home, 52 Park Street, Pulaski, NY.
