- Newspaper Obituary - Thursday, July 12, 1923 Oswego Daily Palladium - Oswego, New York - Verdict of Suicide in Death of Ella Burns Forsythe - Pulaski, July 12 - Mrs. Ella Burns Forsythe, bride of nine months, who was found dead in her mother's home, three miles from this village, with a bullet through her head, committed suicide while despondent, District Attorney Don A. Colony believes, following conclusion today of an inquest conducted by Dr. P. D. Bailey. Testimony of witnesses sworn all indicated that Mrs. Forsythe felt her husband should provide a home for her. This he was unable to do and the disappointment preyed on her mind. Forsythe is a farm hand and occasionally works at painting. Funeral services will be held from the First M. E. church tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock, the Rev. Charles T. Holcombe, officiating and interment will be made in Willis cemetery.
