Newspaper Obituary - Thursday, November 21, 1957 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - W. T. Sharp, 68, Taken by Death - William Tracy Sharp, 68, died Thursday in the Oswego Hospital where he had been a patient less than a day. He had suffered a heart ailment since early in the summer. Services were held at the Foster Funeral Home Sunday at 2 p.m. with the Rev. W. Russell Clark, pastor of the Park Methodist Church officiating. Interment was made in Riverside Cemetery on the Rome Road. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Lura Mack Sharp„ a member of the Pulaski School faculty for more than 40 years; a sister, Mrs. Fred (Jennie) Dinse of Lincoln; and a niece, Mrs. Russell Bush of Webster. Mr. Sharp was born August 24, 1889 in the Lehigh district, the son of William H. and Kate Mahaffy Sharp. He was educated in the local schools and had lived all his life in the Lehigh district He was clerk at the Pulaski post office for 20 years and for 15 years following operated his farm on the Rome Road. In more recent years he had engaged as a cattle dealer. He was married to Miss Lura Mack Sharp on May 26, 1917.
