- Newspaper Obituary - February 25, 1976 Pulaski Democrat - Louis Trumble dies at 70 - Louis R. Trumble , 70, of Hollis Rd, Pulaski passed away February 22, at the House of Good Samaritan, Watertown, where he had been a patient two weeks. He was born June 13, 1905, in Pulaski, to Lewis and Lillian Ross Trumble and attended local schools. Around 1927 he was married to Barbara Aicholtz in Pulaski. He later married Frances Stewart in May 1958, who passed away in 1971. Surviving are: two sons, Dr. Herbert L. Trumble, San Jose, California and Dr. Robert L. Trumble, Sunnyvale, California; one stepson, Thomas Davis, Ilion; one stepdaughter, Mrs David (Joann) Carter, Charlottsville, Va; one brother James, Pulaski; two sisters, Mrs Martha Burghdurf and Mrs Mildred Murray both of Pulaski and 11 grandchildren. The funeral services were private. Spring burial will be in Richland Cemetery, Richland. Contributions may be made in his memory to NOCA or NOCHSI.

Trumble, 70, of Hollis Road, died Sunday at the House of Good Samaritan, Watertown, where he was a patient for two weeks. He was a farmer in the Pulaski until his retirement in 1971. Surviving are two sons, Dr. Herbert L. of San Jose, California, and Dr. Robert L. of Sunnyvale, California; a step-son, Thomas Davis of Ilion; a step-daughter, Mrs. David Carter of Charlottesville, Virginia; 11 grandchildren; a brother James of Pulaski; two sisters, Mrs. Martha Burghdurf and Mrs. Mildred Murray, both of Pulaski. Private services will be at the convenience of the family. Spring burial will be in Richland Cemetery. Calling hours will be 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the Taylor-Vida Funeral Home, 7643 Jefferson Street. Contributions may be made to NOCA or NOCHISI.
