- Newspaper Obituary - Friday Evening, July 30, 1909 Oswego Daily Times - Oswego, New York - Pulaski Boy Killed - Francis Colvin Struck by West Shore Trolly at Vernon - Pulaski, July 30 - Francis Colvin, the 11-year-old son of Mrs. Lucy Colvin of Pulaski, was struck by a West Shore trolley car yesterday noon at Vernon and instantly killed. The information was received by John Adams. About a week ago the youngster went to Vernon to pass some time with his sister, Mrs. John Potter. Mrs. Lucy Colvin, widow of the late Oren H. Colvin, has been in Lowville for a week or more and up to a late hour last evening she could not be located. Mrs. John Adams and Mrs. William Gorton both of this village and sisters of the Colvin boy left for Vernon last night. The body will be brought to Pulaski for burial either today or tomorrow.
