  • Notes
    • Born and raised in East Syracuse, Howard enlisted in the army just prior to World War II. He was trained in Alabama and served in the South Pacific as a Technical Sargeant. in CN Company, 108th Infantry. His wife Virginia was in the Womans Air Corp.
Following the end of the War Howard and Virginia returned to the Syracuse area where they raised their daughter. Howard was close to his Fox cousins and spent quality time with his cousin Ray, assisting Ray in the construction of a cottage in Canada. Howard worked construction in the area and it was while working on a job in 1963 that he was killed when the ditch he was working in collapsed.
