    • JOTHAM A. JENNINGS DIES OF HEART AILMENT

      The death of Jotham Alvinis Jennings, came suddenly Mon. eve., Sept. 30, at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Elwin Spencer, McConnellsville, following a heart attack. Mr. Jennings had not been in good health for some time having been subject to heart trouble.

      He was born in Boylston, February 21, 1881, son of the late Joseph and Sarah Jane Jennings. He had always been active in the Odd Fellows, being past noble grand of Pulaski lodge, a member of the Past Grand Association, and a member of the District Grand Committee.

      Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, at the Walton Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Wesleyan cemetery, east of Lacona.

      Members of the Odd Fellows lodge will act as bearers. Mr. Jennings is survived by his widow, Anna Jennings; four sisters, three sons: Eilery, Leland and Walter; and three daughters: Mrs. Elwin Spencer, Mrs. Ray Johnson and Mrs. Wm. Denny, and several grandchildren.
