- Newspaper Obituary - April 25, 2002 Post Standard - Syracuse, New York - DONNA L. SIMONEAU - Donna L. Simoneau, 59, of Red Creek died Sunday. Born in Sandy Creek, she graduated from Sandy Creek High School and moved to Red Creek in 1963. She was a teacher's aide for Red Creek Central Schools for many years. Her husband of 15 years, George, died in March. Survivors: Two daughters, Deborah Crawford of Waipahu, Hawaii, and Darcy Ford of Rochester; two sons, Donald Ford of Red Creek and Dennis Ford of San Antonio, Texas; two stepsons, Brian and Brett Simoneau, both of Scriba; a stepdaughter, Barbara Carson of Scriba; a brother, Frederick Caufield of Sandy Creek; six sisters, Margaret Dence, Katie Ridgeway, Judy Donahue and Verna K. Caufield, all of Sandy Creek, Anne Eggleston of Central Square and Pat Bremmer; several grandchildren. Memorial services: 3 p.m. Saturday in Red Creek Methodist Church.
