    • Newspaper Obituary - February 15, 1951 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York -Mrs. William Colvin Dies in Osceola - Mrs. Marcia Clemens Colvin, 69, widow of the late William Colvin, died Monday night at the home of her son, John Colvin, in North Osceola. She had been in poor health the past two years. Funeral services will be held from the Brown funeral home in Altmar today (Thursday) at 2 p.m. with interment in the Parish cemetery in the family plot. Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Gertrude Cassiter, Detroit, Mich., Mrs. Chester (Ann) Wood of Tuscon, Ariz., and Mrs. Ralph (Lucy) Currier, Osceola; four sons, George Colvin of S. Cotton, Orrin Colvin of Boylston, Lynn Colvin of Altmar, and John Colvin with whom she had lived since her husband's death Sept. 4, 1949; two brothers, John and Ray Clemens of Osceola; two sisters, Mrs. Dora Vandewalker of Osceola, and Mrs. Etta Wright of Camden, and several grandchildren. A daughter, Mrs. Muriel Wadsworth, Orwell, died last October. Mrs. Colvin was born in Osceola, Feb. 1, 1882, a daughter of George and Lavina Williams Clemens, and had lived in Osceola all her life. She married Mr. Colvin Oct. 23 , 1901 and had resided on the old homestead (where she died), all of her married life. Mr. Calvin was a blacksmith and woodsman.
