      Earl F. "Pinky" Burdick, 69, of County Route 89, town of Oswego, died Thursday at Oswego Hospital after a brief illness.

      Mr. Burdick was a native of Oswego. He was employed for many years as a dredgeman and worked extensively throughout the Great Lakes.

      Surviving are his wife, the former Fanny Murray; a daughter, Linda Jean Burdick of Mississippi; a son, Earl S. of Oswego; a brother, Robert of Richland; four sisters, Viola Roach, Grace Murphy and Ethel Carey, all of Oswego, and Dorothy Buddie of Lycoming; 11 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

      Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Dain-Cullinan Funeral Home and at 11 a.m. in St. Mary's Church. Burial will be in Rural Cemetery.

      Calling hours will be 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday and Tuesday at the funeral home, 112 E. Second St.
