Bezio Jr., 63, Pulaski, died Friday at Pontiac Nursing Home, Oswego. Mr. Bezio worked 21 years at Schoeller Technical Paper, retiring in 1997. Born June 26, 1941, in Plattsburgh, son of Norman V. and Violet Thompson Bezio, he served in the Navy. He moved to Pulaski in 1970 and had also lived for a time in Syracuse. He was a member of Robert Edwards American Legion Post 358 and was a former Cub Scout leader. Surviving are his wife, Shirley; a son, Richard H., Phoenix City, Alabama; a daughter, Michele V. Claflin, Pulaski; two brothers, Donald Sawyer, Lowville, and Bernard Bezio, Ogdensburg; four sisters, Sherry Heikenan, California, Linda Souder, Alaska, Violet Moesch, Plattsburgh, and Peggy Adams, Lowville, and his stepmother, Ruth Sweeney, Croghan. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Foster-Hax Funeral Home. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery. Calling hours will be 9:30 to 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.
