- Newspaper Obituary - July 5, 1989 Post Standard - Syracuse, New York - LYNN COLVIN - Services for Lynn ``Zeke'' Colvin, 68, formerly of the Pulaski and Altmar area, who died Monday at St. Joseph's Hospital, will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Foster-Hax Funeral Home. Calling hours will be 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m today at the funeral home, 7385 Park St. A native of Pulaski, Mr. Colvin lived in Lake, Miss., for the past nine years. He graduated from Camden High School in 1939. He was an Army veteran of World War II. He was a member of Local 545 B Operating Engineers from 1955 to 1980, retiring when he moved to Lake. Mr. Colvin was a member of South Union Lodge 193 Homewood, Miss., a charter member of the William Colvin Hunting Club and a retired member of Defiance Fire Company, Altmar. He was a past master of Amboy F&AM Lodge, Williamstown, and past patron of Amboy Eastern Star 877, Williamstown. He was a member of Russell Tryon Post 1435, American Legion, and a former member of the Pulaski Bowling League. Surviving are his wife, Lucille M.; two sons, Richard A. of Central Square and Dan O. of Lake; his brother, Orin, of Commerce City, Colo.; his sister, Gertrude Castetter of Pulaski; three grandchildren; 19 foster grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Contributions may be made to Defiance Fire Department, Altmar, or the Amboy Lodge F&AM, Williamstown.
