- RUTH E. DOBSON, PULASKI, DIES AT AGE OF 75

Ruth E. Dobson, 75, Lehigh Road, died Wednesday at the home of her son, Clyde Dobson.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Foster-Hax Funeral Home, with Rev. Virgil H. Hager, pastor of the Sandy Creek Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Pulaski Cemetery.
Calling hours will be from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Surviving besides her son are a brother, Roswell Hildreth, Tucson, Ariz., four grandsons and six great-grandchildren.
Born in Harrisville on May 28, 1912, daughter of Frank and Bertha Carkey Hildreth, she attended Harrisville schools and married Clyde Dobson Nov. 16, 1929. The couple lived in Harrisville and Carthage before moving to Pulaski in 1962. Mr. Dobson died in October 1978.
Mrs. Dobson had been employed by Syracuse China, Syracuse, the Pulaski Bakery and the Scanlon Bakery, Harrisville.
