Newspaper Obituary - March 31, 1915 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - In Memoriam Of Mrs. Perry Hardy ¬Caroline North was born at Popple Ridge, town of Mexico, March 5, 1837. At the age of seven, with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lambert North, she moved to this town on the farm now occupied by John L. North. December 13, 1855, she was united in marriage with Perry V. Hardy, Rev. Lawton Muzzy, officiating. She is survived by her husband. One child was born to them, Kate B. Hardy Hemens, who died some time ago. Not only her family but the whole community will miss her for the kind Christian life she has lived among us. In 1880 she was baptized by Rev. S. T. Dibble and had lived close to her Savior and a faithful servant of the cause of Christianity. Her death came March 25 after ten days suffering from asthma and pneumonia. Her funeral was held Saturday, March 27, Rev. E. A. Rogers, of Pulaski, officiating. Rev. Peter Zee assisted. The bearers were John North, Lambert North, Fred and Claude Hardy, nephews of Mrs. Hardy. Burial was made at Daysville Cemetery. She is survived by one brother, L. G. North, of Pulaski and one sister, Mrs. A. N. Woodard of Port Ontario.
