- Newspaper Obituary - February 25, 2009 Post Standard - Syracuse, New York - David C. Colvin - February 20, 2009 - David C. Colvin, 31, of East Aurora, formerly of Central Square died Friday in an automobile accident in the town of Bennington in Wyoming County. He was born May 11, 1977 in Syracuse, the son of Richard and Fay A. Yerdon Colvin. He graduated from P.V. Moore High School in Central Square in 1995. He also graduated from Canisus College in Buffalo in 2000. He was employed by Fisher-Price Co. in East Aurora for the past three years in information technology. Surviving: his mother, Fay A. Colvin of Brewerton; one aunt, Paulette Yerdon of Vestal; two uncles, Donald Yerdon of Spencerport and Daniel Colvin of Mississippi; and several cousins. He was predeceased by his father, Richard Colvin who died in 2004. Funeral Services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday at the Foster-Hax Funeral Home, 52 Park Street, Pulaski. Calling hours will be held from 3 to 6 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Donations may be made to the Halfshire Historical Society, P.O. Box 73, Richland, NY 13114, or a charity of ones choice.
