  Newspaper Obituary - August 5, 2011 Post Standard - Syracuse, New York - CAUFIELD - Cindy L. Caufield - August 3, 2011 - Cindy L. Caufield, 59, of Sandy Creek, passed away Wednesday at her home under the care of family and Oswego County Hospice. She was born January 16, 1952, in Watertown and daughter of the late John and Therese Caufield Surprise. She was educated in Sandy Creek School and lived in Syracuse where she was produce manager at Wescott Big-M. She moved back to Sandy Creek in 1990 and was a bartender at Hotel Martin. Also, she was a member of A.A.H.A Coral #97 in Sandy Creek. Survived by her companion, Tom Bardeschewski of Sandy Pond; two brothers, Mike Surprise of Pulaski and Gary (Mary Ann) Surprise of Bridgeport; two nieces, several cousins, aunts and uncles. Predeceased by a sister, Tina Surprise. Funeral will be held Saturday 2 p.m. at Summerville Funeral Home in Sandy Creek with Rev. Brian Snyder officiating.
