      Kenneth N. Cronk
      Dies at 61

      Kenneth N. Cronk, 61, Altmar RD 1, was pronounced dead on arrival at Oswego hospital Sunday, July 21.

      Mr. Conk was stricken at the Four Seasons fishery in the Town of Altmar. He was taken to Oswego Hospital by the NOCA ambulance.

      Born in Pulaski, Feb. 18, 1913 he was a life resident of the area. He was a lumberman.

      Surviving are his wife, the former Dorothy Colvin; nine sons, Warren C. of Altmar, Kenneth E. of Orwell, James of Mallory, Frank A., Bert L., Steve, Raymond L. and Darwin L., all of Altmar, and Terry L. of Pennellville; two daughters, Mrs. Evelyn F. Hoyt of Mallory and Mrs. Mary Jean Gaffey of Altmar. He is also survived by three brothers; Lewis of Watertown; John, of Florida and Ernest of Antwerp; three sisters: Mrs. Doris Earl, Phoenix; Mrs. Frances Backus, and Mrs. Irma Williams both of Star Lake. He leaves 32 grandchildren.

      There will be calling hours at the Cronk residence in Altmar on Wednesday, with services at Riverside Methodist Church, Altmar on Thursday, July 25 at 2 p.m. Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery, Altmar. Rev. Paul Zelinka and Rev. Adelbert Edwards will officiate.
