Grant A. Spicer, 79, of Route 104 East died Tuesday at his home after a brief illness.
A native of Parish, Mr. Spicer lived several years in Mexico. He was a retired farmer.
Surviving are his wife, Mildred; a daughter, Georgia Halstead of Mexico; four sons, Charles of Oswego, Carl of Parish and Daniel and Donald, both of Mexico; two sisters, Clara Ellison of Parish and Nellie Combs of Rome; and 11 grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Harter-Olmstead Funeral Home. Burial will be in Pleasant Lawn Cemetery, Parish.
Calling hours will be 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, 5305 Washington Ave.
