He was born in Swanton, VT, and was employed by the New York State Parks Dept. at Selkirk Shores. Surviving are his wife of 34 years, the former Doris Noyes; six daughters, Tammy Hoff, Parish, Randi Knepper, Albion, Julie Joss, Pulaski, Mary Davis, Maple View, Cheryl Hollenbeck, Mexico, Karen Plumley, Mexico; three stepsons, James Shortsleeve, Mexico, John Shortsleeve, Mexico, Brian Shortsleeve, Mexico; four brothers, Raymond Bouchard, Sandy Creek, Clifford Bouchard, VT, Norman Bouchard, VT, Clayton Bouchard, VT; one sister, Ernestine, Vermont. Predeceased by one son, Michael Bouchard, and one stepson, Wayne Shortsleeve. Memorial calling hours will be 5 to 8 p.m. Monday from the Harter Funeral Home, 9 Washington Ave., Mexico, NY.
