Newspaper Obituary - Wednesday, August 3, 1904 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - Albert Wright was born January 20th, 1820, in Jefferson County, and died July 26th, 1904, at the home of his daughter, Mrs. J. W. Wright near New Centerville, this county. Mr. Wright was one of the pioneers of the town of Albion, and helped to clear the land of the stately pines which were once its pride. His was a rugged constitution and he was able to do a large amount of work when nearly eighty years of age. For the past ten years his health has been gradually declining and since the death of his wife he has lived with his children, Mr. and Mrs. J. V. Wright, from whom he has received the most loving and kindly care. Although hearing failed and sight grew dim he kept his mental faculties to a remarkable degree and used to love to tell of the days of his youth of to relate a funny anecdote. From early manhood he had been a devout Christian and died in the full hope of a glorious immortality. Besides the daughter above referred to, he is survived by one brother, Luther Wright, of Fort Wayne, Indiana, one sister, Mrs. Sarah Weed, of Richland, two grandchildren and four great grandchildren. The funeral was held from the house on Thursday last. Rev. B. DeForest Snyder, of Pulaski, officiating. The interment was made in the Richland cemetery.
