- Newspaper Obituary - Thursday, August 5, 1852 Northern Democrat - Pulaski, New York - Died - On Thursday the 15th inst, at the Louisiana Hotel, Mrs. Caroline Boggs, from Huntingdon, Huntingdon Co., Pennsylvania, aged about 35 years. Also on the same day at the Western Hotel, Mary Jessie, daughter of Almon D. and Ruth E. Champney, from Richland, Oswego Co., New York, aged 2 years and 9 months. These two, the mother forsaking her child and the child its mother, were most fitly laid together in the Stranger's Burial Place, and with one service over both committed to the care of Jesus, till the resurrection. They were passengers to Aspinwall by the steamer El Dorado.
