      LAKEVIEW - Randall Charles Almas, 67, of Morley, went to be with his Lord at his home on Monday, April 25, 2016.

      Randall was born on Aug. 10, 1948, in Lakeview, the son of Charles Edgar and Merie Grace (Thurston) Almas. He was raised in Morley and graduated in the class of 1967. Randall married Linda Shirley Chapin on June 8, 1968, at Bethel Lutheran Church. He was employed as maintenance and die cast operator by Keeler Die Cast for 34-plus years until they closed. He then worked for Metron of Big Rapids in maintenance for 2-plus years. Randall enjoyed farming, hunting, camping, fishing, but most of all, he loved spending time with his grandchildren. He was a member of the Green Country Church.

      Randall will be deeply missed by his wife, Linda Almas, of Morley; his mother, Merie Almas, of Morley; son, Michael Almas, of Morley; daughter, Pamela (Christopher) Martin, of Morley; five grandchildren, Crue, Randi, and Emily Martin, and Michael and Joel Almas; sister, Susanne (Gary) McIntyre, of Morley; brother, Steven (Dianna) Almas, of Morley; two brothers-in-law, Roy (Arlene) Monroe, of Grant, and Jim (Kathy) Chapin, of Florida; three sisters-in-law, Peggy (John) Dell, of Grand Rapids, and Mona and Dawn Monroe, both of Wyoming; and several nieces, nephews, friends and church family.

      Randall was preceded in death by his father, Charles Almas; mother-in-law, Shirley Girard (Russ Girard, Edwin Monroe); one sister-in-law, Theresa Thompson; and nephew, Jeff McIntyre.

      Funeral services for Randall will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, April 29, 2016, at Brigham Funeral Chapel, with Pastor Roger Cooper officiating. Visitations for Randall will be held from noon until the start of the service on Friday and from 5 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, April 28, 2016, at the funeral home. A luncheon will take place at Brockway Wesleyan Church on Three Mile Road in Morley following the internment at Boyd Cemetery in Morley.
