    • Florence or "Midge" as she is remembered, was an exceptionally bright child. Her keen interest is recalled by her Aunts and Uncles that knew her. Shortly after her 2nd birthday she got into a bottle of her Great Grandfather Claude's heart medicine, and died from an overdose. She was buried by her grieving family on top of her Great Grandmother Nellie McCaw Ballou along with her infant Aunt Alice Ballou, and her cousin Mary Lou Warren.
