      Joseph A. DeLosh, 63, of Ashland, died Monday, Dec. 25, 2006, at Kingston of Ashland, after a 14-year illness.

      Mr. DeLosh was born June 28, 1943 in Watertown, N.Y., son of Harry Joseph and Lena Mae (Cowles) DeLosh.

      He had lived in the Nova area since 1977. He had been employed as a machinist at the Whirlaway Co. in Wellington. He had served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He was a lifetime member of Wellington V.F.W. Post 6941 and the Huntington AMVETS Post 162, where he was past commander.

      Mr. DeLosh is survived by daughters, Debra Buri of Wellington, Denise Beursken of Sebring, Fla. and Michelle West of Georgia; sons, Joseph DeLosh of Shelby and William DeLosh of Nova; nine grandchildren; a brother, Harry DeLosh of Richland, N.Y.; and two sisters, Rose Thompson of S. Daytona, Fla. and Louise Vollmer of Daytona Beach, Fla.

      He was preceded in death by his wife, Marie DeLosh; and a grandson, Caleb Beursken.

      Friends may call 4 to 6 p.m. Friday, Dec. 29, 2006, at the Eastman Funeral Home, 200 W. Main St., New London. There will be no service.

      In Lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the family in care of the funeral home. (T-G 12/27/06)
