- Walker Rites Will Be Conducted Saturday
Camden, Oct. 26-Funeral services for Lloyd C. Walker, 49, who died Wednesday in Rome, will be held at 2 p. m. Saturday at the B. A. Sanborn & Son Funeral Home, with the Rev. Stanley Skinner, Williamstown, officiating. Bu-rial will be made in Westdale Cemetery where Mr. Walker was caretaker for the past 22 years.
Mr. Walker, a native of West-dale, was twice married. His first wife was Nellie M. Gifford and on Aug. 31, 1941 he married Ethel Grinnell. Besides his widow, he leaves these children: Lionel, Rome; George, Westdale; Simeon, Nellie, William, DeVe E, Oatley, Camden; two stepchildren, John and Merele Walker, .Camden; and two grandchildren, Margarette and Pauline, Rome; also nieces and nephews.
Lloyd C. Walker, 49, Succumbs at Hospital Camden, Oct. 25 - Lloyd C. Walker, 49, died his morning in a Rome hospital where he had been a patient seven days. He was born in Westdale, Dec. 6, 1894, a son of Henry and Emma A. Chapman Walker. He was a farmer in Westdale for several years and had recently been a junk dealer in Camden. He was twice married, his second wife, who survives, having been the former Ethel Grinnell. Funeral arrangements in charge of B. A. Sanborn & Son are incomplete.
