- ALICE M. MOOT, 74, PULASKI, DIES IN SYRACUSE

Alice M. Moot, 74, Lehigh Road, Pulaski, died Friday at the State University of New York Health Science Center, Syracuse.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday at the Foster-Hax Funeral Home, Pulaski, with the Rev. Anthony Keeffe officiating. Burial will be in Mexico Village Cemetery.
Calling hours are 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home, 7385 Park St. Contributions may be made to the Northern Oswego County Ambulance.
Surviving are four sons, John J., Edwin M., and Kimberly H., all of Pulaski, and Barry A. of Altmar; three daughters, Nancy L. Sweatland of Williamstown, Patricia G. Reed of Central Square, and Caprice E. Hooge of Pulaski; four sisters, Mabel Chamberlain and Mary Delong, both of Pulaski, Erma Webber of Watertown, and Kathryn Spencer of Central Square; 19 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
Born May 16, 1920 in Pulaski, the daughter of Wilbur and Katheryn Gorman Fox, she lived in Pulaski for the past 50 years. She also lived in Camden and Mexico.
She married Archa H. Moot Sept. 23, 1937. Mr. Moot died Oct. 12, 1987.
She attended Pulaski Academy High School and was employed by the Oswego County Office for the Aging, Oswego, for 14 years, retiring in 1992.
She was a member of St. John the Evangelist Church, Pulaski, and a member and past president of the Robert Edwards Post 358 American Legion Auxiliary, the Oswego County Legion Auxiliary, and a charter member of the Northern Oswego County Ambulance.
