- Mr. Peck had owned and operated Bob's Diner, Williamstown, and had previously been employed at Camden Wire.
Born July 18, 1916, in Verona, son of Charles and Viola Deyo Peck, he attended school in McConnellsville. He served in the Army from 1934 to 1958 and had resided in the Almar and Williamstown area for the past 50 years.
He married Rose E. Britton on Aug. 5, 1948.
Mr. Peck served as a justice and councilman for the town of Williamstown for 12 years.
He was a life member of Disabled American Veterans Post 8, Syracuse; was past commander and a 52-year member of the Hastings- Gorski American Legion Post 1128, Williamstown, and was an honorary member of the Williamstown Fire Department.
Surviving besides his wife are three sons, Bobby L., Altamont Springs, Fla., Timothy C., Richland, and Christopher K., Boylston; two daughters, Bonny L. Ranke, Taberg, and Pamela J. Hoyt, Almar, and 12 grandchildren.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Foster-Hax Funeral Home, Pulaski, with the Rev. William Bryant officiating. Spring burial with military honors will be in Fairview Cemetery, Williamstown.
Calling hours will be 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
