- Newspaper Obituary - Thursday, June 9, 1892 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - South Richland - On Wednesday Dr. Radway, of Mexico, was called for counsel for Mrs. W. Twitchell, who died on Thursday of last week. Mr. Cook and wife, of Mexico, wherein the place to visit Mrs. Twitchell, the two ladies being cousins, but Mrs. Twitchell had but just closed her eyes to earthly things to open them "where the sunshine ever lingers." Her funeral was attended on Saturday from her late home in the Woods district. Mrs. Twitchell was the only child of Cyrus Erskine. She leaves by her death a father, mother, a devoted husband and four children, aged about eleven, eight, five, and a baby about six months, all of whom must learn what home is without a mother. Indeed to them is their home made desolate. Rev. Northrup officiating.
Newspaper Obituary - Thursday, June 9, 1892 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - Died - Near Dugway, town of Albion, New York, June 2, 1892, Etta Ann, wife of Willis G. Twitchell, aged 32 years and 9 months. Deceased was the only child of Cyrus Erskine. There are four children surviving the mother, the eldest being only ten years of age. The circumstances are peculiarly sad, and kindly sympathy of the community is strongly with the bereaved husband and motherless children. Interment took place in Pulaski cemetery last Sunday, Rev. W. H. Hall, of Dugway, officiating.
