OBITUARY, Mrs. Florence 0. Sabin

Mrs. Florence 0. Sabin, age 78, passed away after a lingering illness Wednesday at her home. She was born August 2, 1898 in Gladwin, Michigan and came to Muskegon in 1928 from Cheboygan. The former Florence Richardson was married to Ray S. Sabin in Benton Harbor, Michigan on April 10, 1964. She was a member of the Christ United Methodist Church of Bradenton, Florida and the Methodist Women's Society. Mrs. Sabin worked as a practical nurse. She is survived by her husband, Ray; a son, Ronald Armantrout of Muskegon; 3 stepsons, Socks Sabin of Muskegon, Arnold Sabin of Denver, Colorado, Raymond Sabin of San Diego, California; a daughter, Mrs. Charolette Gleson of Coopersville, Michigan; a brother Clifford Richardson of California; 2 sisters, Mrs. Hattie Osmick of Glendale, California; Mrs. Mary Fox of Alpena, Michigan; 6 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren. The funeral service for Mrs. Sabin will be held at the Lee Funeral Home Saturday afternoon at 3:00 p.m., Rev. Robert Treat officiating. Mrs. Sabin will be laid to rest in Mona View Cemetery.
