- Online Obituary - Aileen S. Pizon - Aileen S. Pizon, 83, resident of Sandy Creek, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 30 at Samaritan Medical Center in Watertown. Born Nov. 21, 1928 in Richland to the late Lynn and Maxine Sanderson. Also predeceased by a brother Ron Sanderson and a sister Alma Blechinger. She graduated from Mexico Academy and Central School at age 18. Aileen married Charles (Keish) Pizon Nov. 1, 1950. Mr. Pizon died Aug. 5, 1997. Together they lived on Box Street in Pulaski, while owning and running a small grocery store. They moved to the New England seacoast area where Mrs. Pizon was involved with the Nahant Village Church. Including writing and directing a play, "How the West was Lost" to benefit the church. In later years she obtained her real estate brokers license and continued to sell real estate until they returned to Upstate New York. They had a small farm and she worked and retired from MVE Homes in Pulaski. Mrs. Pizon enjoyed: singing, knitting, reading, baking, bingo, SCCS Drama Club, Little League, and spending time with friends and family. She is survivied by her four children and one son-in-law, David Pizon, Debra Fuller both of New Hampshire, Dotty (John) Loomis of Mannsville, and Doreen Smith of Sandy Creek; 10 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; one great-great grandson; and several caring nieces and nephews. Private services and burial will be at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are with Summerville Funeral Home, Sandy Creek. Memorial contributions may be made to Disabled American Veterans Association.
