    • Harriet Francher - September 16, 1832 - September 14, 1902. Daughter of Caleb and Almira Francher. Wife of Charles R. Erskine.

Newspaper Obituary - Wednesday, September 17, 1902 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - Fernwood - Died, at her home, Sunday morning, Mrs. Harriet Erskine, in her seventieth year. She has been in poor health all summer, but for the past four weeks has been confined to her bed with typhoid fever. Everything that could be was done, but kind and loving attention and faithful care could not hold her here while she saw before her the joy eternal of a heavenly home where He whom she loved was the light. Fifty years of happy wedded life had been hers and she leaves the companion of all these years to mourn; also a sister, too, an own sister, Mrs. Weaver, of Hudson, Michigan, and a brother, of Huron, Minnesota, besides a host of friends. Mrs. Erskine was a member of the M. E. church, honored and esteemed; a member of the W.F.M.S., also the Ladies Aid, and every good work always received encouragement from her. Each society sustains an irreparable loss. Reserved, quiet in all her ways, yet a smile and kind words for all. The sister and husband, broken in health and spirits, left alone, but not to mourn without hope, for He who was her hope will comfort and support. Funeral at her late home, September 16, 1:30, and at the M. E. church at 2 p.m. Rev. Wright assisted by Rev. Hall officiated. Undertaker J. Maguire was in charge of the funeral.
