    • Newspaper Obituary - Monday, December 10, 1984 Sandy Creek News - Sandy Creek, New York - Ralph Maitland, Sr., 74 ¬Ralph E: Maitland, Sr., 74 of Richland RD 1 died Thursday afternoon November 29, 1984 in the House of the Good Samaritan Hospital, Watertown, after a long illness, Born in Henderson September 12, 1910, son of John and Iva Cronk Maitland. He attended Henderson schools and was married to Cora M. Mason, May 14, 1930. They were life residents of the town of Richland. Mr. Maitland retired from farming and was later employed by Richland Dry Kiln in Richland. Surviving are his wife; three sons, Richard J. and William R. both of Richland, and David L., of Oswego; three daughters, Nancy A., Adams and Betty E. Britton, both of Pulaski, and Susan J. Taplin of Altmar; one sister, Mrs. Sue Parsons of Richland; 24 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. A son, Ralph Maitland Jr. died July 12, 1980. Services were at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Foster-Hax Funeral Home, 7385 Park Street, Pulaski, with the Rev. Earl M. Smith officiating. Burial was in Richland Cemetery.
