Newspaper Obituary - Wednesday Evening, April 12, 1916 Oswego Daily Times - Oswego, New York - Old Resident Gone - The Rev. Edward A. Rogers, pastor of the First Baptist church, will officiate at the funeral of Perry Hardy, whose death occurred Monday, which will be held from the family home at Port Ontario tomorrow at 2 p.m. Mr. Hardy was born at Mannsville, Jefferson county, February 20, 1833, and had been a resident of the town of Richland seventy-six years. He had for many years conducted a general store at Port Ontario, later engaging in Farming. Mr. Hardy was a member of Lake Ontario Association, Patrons of Husbandry. He leaves a brother and two sisters, Carl Hardy of Port Ontario, Mrs. Jane Graves of Parish and Mrs. Maria Smith of Port Ontario.
