G. Donald Snell, 78, Marietta, retired bridge foreman, died Wednesday at Angel's Inn after a long illness.
There will be no funeral or calling hours. The body will be cremated. Arrangements are with Simpson-Cleveland Funeral Home.
Contributions may be made to Hospice of Jefferson County Inc., P.O. Box 677, Watertown, or to one's favorite charity.
Surviving are two sons, Russell, Marietta, and Glen D. Jr., Watertown; a daughter, Helen Strich, South Glens Falls; seven grandchildren; a sister, Vivian Bennett, Syracuse; two half-brothers, Gerald and Harold Snell, both of St. Lawrence County, and several nieces and nephews.
His twin sister, Gladys Dorothy Cornell, Canton, and a half-brother, Albert Snell, Russell, died previously.
Born in Russell on June 22, 1911, a son of John and Lilly Stafford Snell, he was a retired bridge foreman for the Onondaga County Highway Department.
He was also a former member of the Otisco Lake Rod and Gun Club.
Mr. Snell had been previously married.
