    • Ronald H. Newcomb, age, 72, life resident of Pulaski, passed away peacefully Monday, January 20, 2025, at Upstate University Hospital.

      Ron was born June 1, 1952, in Rome, NY, the son of Henry and Lois Wade Newcomb. He attended Pulaski Academy Central Schools, and he served in the United States Army. Ron was married to his wife of 43-years, Cathy Brennan Newcomb on December 18, 1971, and she passed away January 10, 2015. Ron was self-employed and owned Ron Newcomb Builders for over 40 years. He had previously worked at Crouse Hinds in Syracuse.

      Surviving are his two daughters, Tina (Larry) Gallo of Watertown and Carly (Rich) Insel of Sherrill, five grandchildren, Justin Smith, Alexa Gingras, Riley Sperati, Ryan Gallo and Luca Sperati, two great-grandchildren, Sophia and Mckenzie Smith, sister, Debra (Robert) Goodnough of Pulaski, and brothers, Richard (Millie) Newcomb of Pulaski and Randy (Arleen) Newcomb of Sandy Pond and JoAnn Newcomb of Mooresville, NC. Ron was predeceased by his parents, Henry and Lois Newcomb and brother, Robert Newcomb.

      Ron enjoyed hunting, fishing, snowmobiling, camping, NASCAR and his beloved dog Sami Mae. Ron was loved by many and will be greatly missed. A Celebration of Life is planned for a later date.
