Newspaper Obituary - Wednesday, April 4, 1894 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - Died - In this town, April 1st, 1894, Martha A., wife of Royal N. Whitney, aged 59 years. Deceased was born in this town, the eldest daughter of the late Harry Frary, in 1835. She was married to Royal N. Whitney, January 30, 1854, and since that time has passed a happy, peaceful life with her husband on the farm east of this village where she died, on Sunday last at two o'clock p.m. Mrs. Whitney, soon after her marriage, united with the Pulaski Methodist church. She has ever been an earnest Christian woman, and her life has been an eminently constant one. There were no children. One sister and four brothers survive her: Mrs. A. J. Champney, of this town, and Charles Frary, also of this town; Hiram Frary, of Kingsville, Missouri; Delos Frary, of Mapleton, Iowa, and Theodore Frary, of Holden, Missouri. The funeral was held at her late residence, on Tuesday. It was conducted by her pastor, Rev. A. D. Webster. Interment took place in the Pulaski cemetery.
