    • Newspaper Obituary - Thursday, May 15, 1873 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - Died - Near Smithville, Jefferson County, and his son's residence, Saturday, May 10th, Robert Muzzy, aged 78 years. The deceased was one of a large family of children, whose home during the first settlement of this region was, together with their parents, on what is now known as the Thompson farm, a few miles north of this village. He had resided near Smithville for fifty years.
