Newspaper Obituary - Tuesday, September 21, 1954 Oswego Palladium Times - Oswego, New York - Pulaski - Guy H. Salisbury, 73, of Daysville, died Monday morning at Oswego Hospital where he had been a patient since last Wednesday. He had been ill for the past two years, and suffered a slight stroke last Tuesday. Mr. Salisbury was born on December 15, 1880, the son of Edward and Flora Calkins Salisbury, one of the pioneer families of the Daysville area. His entire life was spent in that vicinity, where he attended local schools. On December 25, 1890, he married the fonuer Miss Clarbelle Jamerson at the Pulaski Methodist Church. He was a farmer and a member of the South Richland Grange. Surviving are his wife; an aunt, Mrs. Anna Calkins, Port Ontario; a niece, Mrs. Leon Williams, Sandy Creek; and a cousin, Mrs. Ralph Hotchkiss, Port Ontario. Funeral services will be conducted at the Taylor funeral home at 2 p.m. Wednesday with the Rev. James N. Pauley, pastor of the Pulaski Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Willis Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home this evening from 7 to 9 p.m.
