    • Newspaper Obituary - Thursday, May 28, 1874 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - Casket - Thompson - In Sandy Creek, May 19, 1874, of typhoid fever, Mrs. Aurilla M. Thompson, aged _4 years. The deceased was a daughter of Deacon Simon Meacham, so well known as one of the first settlers of this town and founders of the Congregational church in this village. The deceased united with the Congregational church by public profession in 1840. She possessed a preeminent degree "the ornament of a meek and quiet spirit," and her last hours were characterized by the most perfect tranquility and serene peace in the contemplation of death and calm trust in her Redeemer as the Resurrection and the Life.
