- Newspaper Obituary - Tuesday, May 13, 1919 Syracuse Post Standard - Syracuse, New York - TWO DIE FROM PNEUMONIA IN GOOD SHEPHERD HOSPITAL WITHIN FIFTEEN MINUTES - Two deaths from pneumonia, seperated by less than fifteen minutes, occured at the Hospital of the Good Shepherd, yesterday afternoon. Mrs. Melinda J. Ainsworth, 64, of No 4xxx James street, Eastwood, died at 2:15 o'clock after an illness of one week. She had been at the hospital only one day. Ten minutes after the death of Mrs. Ainsworth, Frank Hosler, 39, of Baldwinsville, died. He had been a patient at the hospital for nearly two weeks. Mrs. Ainsworth had been a resident of Eastwood three years and before going there to live had been a resident of East Syracuse for many years. One daughter, Mrs. H. D. Britton, and one son, William B. Loop, of Eastwood survives. The funeral will be held at the home in Eastwood at 3 o'clock tomorrow afternoon. Burial will be in Orville. Mr. Hosley is survived by his mother and step father, Mr. and Mrs. J. Falvo, and two brothers. Arrangements for the funeral have not been completed.
