Pulaski Democrat April 15, 1936:
One of Pulaski's oldest resident, Mrs Jamerson came here as a young woman 70 years ago. She was the widow of Wesley L. Jamerson, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs George V Roberts off Lake St. She had been in failing health for several months and confined to her bed since April. She was born in West Martinsburg, Lewis County, a daughter of Willard Smith. In 1864 she married Wesley L. Jamerson and soon after came to this vicinity to make their home. In 1875 they purchased and moved to a farm on Port St. It was there in 1908 that Mr Jamerson died and the widow continued the home until a few years ago when she sold the place to Capt Hugh Barclay and came to the village to live. For the past three years Mrs Jamerson had made her home with her daughters. To Mr and Mrs Jamerson were born a son and three daughters. A daughter Edith Jamerson died in 1898, a son Milton Jamerson died about ten years ago.Two daughters, Mr Roberts and Miss Addie Jamerson both of this village survive. There are also two grandchildren, Wesley Jamerson of Saratoga Springs and Hugh Jamerson of this village. She was a member of the Congregation church and Pulaski Chapter No 159, Order of the Eastern Star. Funeral will be held from the home with Rev Lowell H Palmer, pastor of the congregational church officiating. Burial in Pulaski cemetery
