- Benjamin Snow was born in this village May 30, 1834. He is a son of the late Benjamin Snow, who built the Ontario Iron Works in 1832. Mr. Snow has always worked in the foundry and is one of the most skillful workmen in the country. He is a man of the most exemplary habits in life and a most earnest church man. He has long been a prominent member of Pulaski Lodge, F.& A.M., has served that order as its W.M. and has been its secretary for the past thirty-three years. Mr. Snow has been a subscriber to the DEMOCRAT for fifty years.

Death of Benjamin Snow.
Pulaski lost one of its most treasured citizens when, on April 28, 1909, Benjamin Snow died. Mr. Snow was born in this village on May 30, 1834, the son of Benjamin and Lovina Snow. He was educated in Pulaski schools and also attended
school in Clinton, N.Y. When his education was complete, he entered the foundry business of this village, (then owned by his father) the Ontario Iron Works. In 1867 he married Mary M. Watson, daughter of John B. Watson. They had two sons, Norman W., who died several years ago and John B. who is now residing in New York.
Benjamin Snow united with the Baptist church at an early age. His official positions, such as clerk, deacon and trustee were characterized by a devout and faithful discharge of responsibility. He was also a member of the Masonic fraternity and Pulaski Lodge F.&A.M. Mr. Snow was a man of modest manner but a strong personality, because of his manifest sincerity and pronounced integrity. His name will be a constant benediction to those who knew him, and his sweet and fragrant life will shed its influence in our church, social and fraternal life so long as those who knew him.

Benjamin Snow of Pulaski, aged 71 years, died at 7:30 p.m. to-day at the Hospital of the Good Shepherd, where he had been a patient since April 1.

Prominent Pulaski Man Passw Away in Syracuse
PULASKI, April 2.-The body of Benjamin Snow, who died in the Hospital of the Good Shepherd at Syracuse, reached here last evening accompanied by ithe bereaved widow and son, John Benjamin Snow of New York. A largei delegation of Masons received the body and escorted it to the family home in Mill street. Mr. Snow under went an operation a few weeks ago add he was convalescing, but there was a sudden change and
death came yesterday. Mr. Snow was born in Pulaski, May 30, 1834. He wad educated in the local schools and at Clinton, after which he entered, the employ of his father, Benjamin
Snow, who conducted a foundry. He was formany years superintendent of the Ontario Iron Works of Arthur.
Mr. Snow was a member and officer of the First Baptist church. For more than two decades he served as a member Of the Board of Education. He was made a Mason by Pulaski lodge No 415, In 1856, of which he was a worshipful master. He has served as secretary of the lodge for more than forty years without interuption. Mr. Snow was also a memr of Pulaski chapter No. 279, R. A., and of Pulaski chapter No. 149, 0.S., and of the Masonic Veteran Assocation of Syracuse.
