      Newspaper Obituary - Thursday, August 25, 1966 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - Rites Held For Floyd Atkinson - Floyd J. Atkinson, for many years a Pulaski area resident, died at his home in Mexico, August 17. He was 65 years old. Mr. Atkinson was born December 4, 1900, son of Delano and Jennie Sprague Atkinson. He attended Pulaski High School, and married the former Jessie Alder. Mr. Atkinson was a farmer for many years in the Fernwood-Pulaski area, later working on the St. Lawrence Seaway project. He is survived by a niece, Mrs. Wayne (Genevieve) Wade of Central Square, and his uncle, Herbert Sprague, Pulaski. He is also survived by several cousins. Funeral services were held Saturday, August 19, at the Foster Funeral Home, with the Rev. George Butler of First Methodist Church, Oswego, officiating. Interment was in South Richland Cemetery.
