Newspaper Obituary - Tuesday, May 7, 1985 Palladium Times - Oswego, New York - Pulaski - George H. Wadsworth, 72, of RD 1 Old Mexico Road, Pulaski, died Monday evening at St. Joseph's Hospital in Syracuse. Born January 10, 1913 in East Chatham, New York, he was the son of Dew and Anna Haynor Wadsworth. He graduated from New Lebanon High School and Cornell University in 1935. He married Gladys D. Atkinson on May 10, 1936. Mr. Wadsworth was employed at Douglaston Manor Poultry Farm for many years. For 20 years he was employed as the head mechanic for the Williamstown Irrigation Company. He was a member of Pulaski Congregational Church. Surviving besides his wife, are a son, Malcom A. Wadsworth of Pulaski; a daughter, Mrs. Robert (Barbara) MacCormack of Sunnyvale, California; five grandchildren; two brothers, Kelton Wadsworth of Old Chatmam, New York, and Vincent Wadsworth of East Chatham, New York. Services will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. in Foster-Hax Funeral Home, Pulaski, with Rev. John Howell, pastor of the Pulaski Congregational Church, officiating. Burial will be in Daysville Cemetery, Daysville, New York. There will be no calling hours.
