Newspaper Obituary - Wednesday, November 24, 1915 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - Mrs. Jane Potter Dingman, widow of Daniel W. Dingman, who died in this village several years ago, passed away, Monday evening, aged 79 years. Mrs. Dingman was daughter of Green and Ann Potter, who were pioneers of the town of Orwell and settled in the Potter neighborhood. Mrs. Dingman was a resident of the town of Albion many years after her marriage. It was there she bore three children, Etta, Howard and Carrie, only the son survives. She came to Richland some years ago and since coming here has made many friends who will be sad to know of her death. She has been kindly cared for in her declining years by her granddaughter, Mrs. Claude Lester, who has been with her constantly. Mrs. Dingman's mother was born in England and came to this country when a young girl, and her father was born in Floyd, Oneida County. She is survived by the son, Howard E. Dingman, who is now at the Richland home; three brothers, John M. and Elven. G. of Orwell and J. Grant Potter of this village. The funeral will be held at the home, Friday, at ten o'clock; burial in Richland cemetery. Agreeable to a request made some time ago, the service will be conducted by her friend of nearly fifty years, B. G. Seamans, of Pulaski.
