- Newspaper Obituary - May 23, 1979 Sandy Creek News - Lynn H. Sanderson, 69, Pulaski, died Sunday afternoon May 20, 1979 at his home. He had a heart ailment. Mr. Sanderson was born Nov. 7, 1909 in the Town of Richland, a son of Frank and Angie Cleveland Sanderson. He attended Pulaski Academy High School. He married Maxine S. Hitchcock on July 28. 1928 He was formerly employed by the Ontario Milk Plant, Mexico. He owned and operated the first dry cleaning plant in Pulaski. He later worked in the Syracuse area as a carpenter and then worked as clerk of the works for Sargent, Webster, Crenshaw, & Folley architects., Since his retirement, he had raised beef cattle on his farm on the Rainbow Shores Road, He was a member of the Pulaski Lodge 415 F. & A.M. Besides his wife, Maxine, he is survived by a son, Ronald Lynn Sanderson, Maple View; two daughters, Mrs Aileen Pizon. Sandy Creek, and Mrs. Alma Blechinger, Pulaski; 14 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and two, brothers. James I., Pulaski and John W , Richland. A private funeral will be held at the convenience of the family at Foster-Hax Funeral Home, Pulaski, with Rev. Roger M. Crassi, officiating. Cremation will follow the service. Donations may be made to the Northern Oswego County Ambulance, or Oswego County Hospital.

Born Nov. 7, 1907 in Richland, NY, he was the son of Frank E. and Angie I. Cleveland. He attended the Pulaski Academy School. He married Maxine S. Hitchcock on July 28, 1928. They lived in the Mexico-Pulaski Area. He was employed at the Ontario Milk Plant in Mexico. He owned and operated the first dry cleaning plant located in the Pulaski Area. Sanderson worked as a carpenter in the Syracuse area. In the last several years he worked as a clerk of the works for Sargent, Webster, Crenshaw, and Folly. He also worked odd school jobs in the NYS area. Since retirement, he has raised beef cattle on the farm on Rainbow Shores Road. He was a member of the Pulaski Lodge 415 F and AM, and a member of the Montola Hunting Club. He is survived by his wife, one son, Ronald Lynn Sanderson of Maple View; 2 brothers, James Sanderson of Pulaski, and John W. Sanderson of Richland; 2 daughters, Mrs. Aileen J Pizon of Sandy Creek and Mrs. Alma Blechinger of Pulaski; 14 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. A private funeral and services were held May 22 with Rev. Roger Crassi officiating. Arrangements were made by Foster-Hax Funeral Home. Any donations are to be made to the Heart Fund in Oswego County.
