      Newspaper Obituary - Monday, November 20, 1944 Oswego Palladium Times - Oswego, New York - Pulaski - John B. Adams, 74, died Sunday afternoon at his home in Glen Avenue, following a long illness. He had been in poor health since 1929 and had been confined to his bed since last January. He was born in North Osceola, June 13, 1870, son of Alvah and Augusta Clemens Adams. He had been a railroad carpenter for many years until ill health forced him to retire. For many years he had been a member of the Odd Fellows. Surviving Mr. Adams are his wife, Mrs. Lucy Colvin Adams; two daughters, Mrs. C. Owen McNett, Pulaski, and Mrs. Arby L. Hon, Oswego; one son, E. C. Adams, principal of the George Hall Trade School, Ogdensburg; eight grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Charles Etherson, Dalton, Massachusetts, and Mrs. Hal Moyhew, New Haven, Connecticut, and one brother, George Adams, Dalton, Massachusetts. Funeral services will be held at his home at 2 p.m. Wednesday. Burial will be in Riverside cemetery, Pulaski.
