- RICHLAND - The funeral service for Ruth Irene Narsh 84, formerly of Beulah Drive, will be 11:00 AM Saturday at the Carpenter-Stoodley funeral home, Belleville, with Rev. Bud Masters, pastor of the Adams Village Baptist Church officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Camden, at 2:00 PM Saturday.
Calling hours will be 10:00 to 11:00 AM, Saturday, at the funeral home.
Mrs. Narsh died Wednesday afternoon at the Samaritan Keep Home where she had been a resident since April 1, 2005.
She was born in Camden April 7, 1925, a daughter of Louis and Inza Allen, Golley. She married Clarence Mowers in December of 1943, he died in 1956. She married Ernest "Grant" Wright in 1959, he died in May of 1966.
She married Harold Narsh in November of 1975 he died in 2002. She lived in the Camden, Belleville and Richland areas prior to entering the Samaritan Keep Home.
She is survived by 3 daughters, Florence Phelps of Blossvale, Julie and Randy Russell, and Linda Rohde all of Adams; 4 sons, Arthur and Joyce Mowers of Rome, Bruce and Debra Mowers of Canastota, Norman and Sally Mowers of Baldwinsville, Ernest and Yoncha Wright, Jr. of Terre Haute, IN; 4 sisters, Nellie Cottet and Alice "Pearl" Bolster both of Parish, Mary and Dave Bacon of Groton, Carol and Charles Duff of Cortland; a brother, Jim Golley of Cortland; 17 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild; several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by a daughter, Mary Etta Wright; a sister, Louise Sampson; 3 brothers, Erwin, Thomas and George Golley.
